Taste of Iceland in Toronto: Iceland’s Thriving Art Scene

Join Björg Stefánsdóttir, director of the Icelandic Art Center, on November 11 at The Spoke Club for a discussion of Icelandic visual arts. Stefánsdóttir will offer insight into how Iceland (with a population of 340,000) is able to sustain a thriving contemporary art scene, both through the artist-driven community and The Icelandic Art Center. The Icelandic Art Center is the commissioner for the Icelandic Pavilion, exhibiting the current scene in Iceland. Attendees will also get to try signature Icelandic cocktails during the event. New to the event lineup this year, the presentation is free to attend.
