This time lapse video, titled “Two Lands – Greeland | Iceland,” provides a mesmerizing look into these two Nordic nations. Photographer Joe Carpa traveled to Iceland and Greenland for a 10-day shoot and created this incredible video compilation.

While in Iceland, Joe filmed at the South Coast, Snæfellsnes Peninsula, Kirkjufell, and Grundarfjörður.

While on this shoot, Joe traveled throughout Iceland for 17 days and, thanks to Iceland’s midnight sun, was able to shoot almost constantly and caputred nearly 38,000 images. A photographer’s paradise, Iceland provides more than 6 hours of the treasured “golden light.” Joe wrote: “Iceland is absolutely one of the most beautiful and unusual places you could ever imagine. Especially during the Midnight Sun when the quality of light hitting the landscape is very unusual, and very spectacular.”
