RAFLOST electronic art festival is an annual boost to the grass roots of Icelandic electronic arts. The festival showcases the past, present, and future of Icelandic electronic arts in an effort to introduce new and younger audiences to the best of electronic art technology, creation, and performance, in order to inspire further creativity. See Iceland’s Famous Puffins 
Iceland is often referred to as the puffin capital of the world. With 8 to 10 million puffins inhabiting the island, the country is home to more than 60% of the world’s entire Atlantic puffin population. During the upcoming warmer months, you can even find them strolling alongside people!

Camp at a Reykjavík Campsite
Voted one of the best campsites in Europe by The Guardian Newspaper, the Reykjavík Eco Campsite is an environmentally friendly attraction located in a green area in the city that is close to the city center. Springtime is Iceland is a beautiful time to camp out as the months get warmer and flowers start to bloom. The campsite can accommodate up to 900 people in tents, cars or caravans, and is next door to one of Iceland’s largest and most popular geothermal swimming pools, Laugardalslaug. Attend the Reykjavík Metalfest 
Reykjavík Metalfest is the most exciting and extreme metal festival in Iceland. Held since 2016, the annual gathering is located in the heart of the city and hosts extreme music lovers. The 2019 edition will be held at Gaukurinn in downtown Reykjavík on May 16-18 and will feature some of Iceland’s best metal acts, as well as bands from France, UK, USA, Germany, and more – bringing together some of the top talent in the international metal scene. See the New lighthouse at Reykjavík Harbour
The new and improved lighthouse at Reykjavík Harbour honors a historic tradition at the Maritime College; from 1945 until the 2000s, the old towerlight guided ships into the Reykjavík harbor, a tradition that came to an end at the beginning of the 21st century when new buildings were too high for the tower light to get through. But now, the new lighthouse will continue the pivotal work of guiding the ships coming into the harbor. Plus, it‘s the ideal place to visit during the springtime when the snow has melted and visitors can enjoy a walk along the shoreline, and visit the nearby famous Sun Voyager!
