It’s a big Icelandic week in Toronto! The opening reception with begin at 7PM on Thursday, May 12 for “And Once We Were”.
In a remote region of Iceland lies a valley untouched by modern development. It is here that Kara Schuster uncovers nature’s influence on a world that men left behind.

Then, move on to see the Icelandic band, Miri, on its way to the Nuna Now Festival in Winnipeg, starting at 9 at El Mocambo (Bathurst south of College). Miri hails from the east coast of Iceland, consisting of four good old country boys with no agenda but to entertain themselves and their audience. With two releases under their belt they have gained a reputation as an energetic and a playful live band. Watch a performance of Miri’s here.
