Reach the Top With 66° North

Our partner brand 66° North and Icelandic Mountain Guides are coming together again for the fifth year to offer a climb to the top of Europe’s largest glacier, Hvannadalshnukur. The event aims to increase public awareness of global warming and its effects on Iceland’s glaciers. The program features two parts. First, participants will be lectured on the basics of nutrition, equipment, and safety through lectures and workshops. Next, participants will complete fourteen climbs to build knowledge and experience before attempting the climb of Hvannadalshnukur.
