Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band; the conceptual supergroup formed by John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1969 before the dissolution of the Beatles. Canadian Polaris Music Prize Winner and lover of loops Owen Pallett, synth siren Glasser from Los Angeles, Bristol’s tropical thrashers Zun Zun Egui and Other Lives, Oklahoma’s finest indie rock export. In addition the festival has announced Active Child (US), Random Recipe (CA), Benjamin Francis Leftwich (UK), Rich Acoin (CA) and IIRIS (EE). On the Icelandic front there is local dance gods GusGus, For a Minor Reflection’s energetic and melodic post-rock, Kippi Kaninus, Amiina member, and his not so big band and Sykur’s delicious slices of electro pop. And there’s more! Vicky with their melodic punk-rock,Mógil’s experimental music with a dash of jazz, folk and classical flavors and veteran rockers HAM, lovely indie pop from Lára and Prins Póló, rockers Cliff Clavin andSudden Weather Change.
