Although holiday celebrations may look a little different this year due to the pandemic and social distancing measures, Iceland is still bustling with holiday cheer!
Each year, Hafnarfjörður centre is transformed into a winter wonderland in the weeks before Christmas. Tourists and native Icelanders alike look forward to the Christmas Village all year, from the Christmas music, to horse-drawn carriage rides, and visits from the beloved Icelandic Yule Lads. The town center also features jewelry shops, cafes, bakeries, and studio galleries with artwork from local Icelandic artists!
