Album: Jónsi’s debut solo album, ‘Go’, was released around the world on April 5th, 2010. The new album features nine songs drawn from the large pool of material amassed by Jónsi during his many years as singer with Sigur Rós. The album was arranged in collaboration with classical wunderkind Nico Muhly and the album cover was conceptualized by Jónsi’s sisters Inga and Lilja.
Tour: The North America tour kicks off in April and features a brand new band and a stage set designed by 59 Productions. The idea of the stage collaboration is to bring together the worlds of theater and music in a unique way.
Video: This new video from the first single, ‘Go Do’, is directed by Árni & Kinski (director for Sigur Rós videos incl. ‘Glósóli’ and ‘Viðrar Vel til Loftárása’), and was filmed on location in Iceland between Christmas and New Year.
