Iceland’s Grímsvötn Volcano

Iceland’s most frequently active volcano, Grímsvötn, located underneath the Vatnajökull glacier, sent ash and smoke 20 kilometres into the air on Sunday.  Grímsvötnhas erupted five times since 1983. The last eruption was in 2004.
