Icelandair Announces Exciting News for Travelers!

To celebrate their 80th anniversary, Icelandair is offering customers some of their best deals yet.

Icelandair is making headlines with some exciting news for travelers.

Icelandair recently announced a new partnership with JetBlue bringing frequent travelers more reward opportunities. Now, Icelandair “Saga Club” members will be able to earn Saga Points on JetBlue flights, while JetBlue “TrueBlue” members can earn TrueBlue Points on Icelandair flights.

The collaboration comes as Icelandair celebrates its 80th anniversary and continues to grow its network and partners in order to provide the best service to its customers.

Additionally, Icelandair announced it will offer year-round flights from Vancouver to more than 25 destinations in Europe! This comes as a response to the consistently increasing number of Vancouverites looking to travel to Iceland and beyond.

To help kickoff these announcements, Icelandair is offering double points for passengers until July 7, 2017. For more information on new flight offerings and rewards opportunities, visit the Icelandair website!

While you’re there, be sure to check out the new Vatnajökull livery plane – the world’s first “flying glacier.” The Vatnajökull is Icelandair’s second livery plane and aims to showcase the natural phenomenon of the largest glacier in Europe. The plane features an interior inspired by an ice cave, with turquoise and sapphire blue LED lighting glowing in the cabin. Click here to request to fly Vatnajökull!
