Icelandair Announces Buddy Hotline Service

The airline launches a new phone service to connect local staff members with passengers and offer their travel tips to create a one-of-a-kind experience in Iceland!

Booking a flight to Iceland, but not quite sure what to do when you get there? Don’t worry – Icelandair, the leading airline offering flights to and from Iceland, is here to help with its new Buddy Hotline service! From now until May 8, Icelandair passengers can tap into the local knowledge of an Icelandair Buddy and hear the latest and greatest tips to make the most out of their trip to Iceland.

Once you’ve booked your flight on Icelandair, you can simply call and connect with an Icelandair staff member who will be more than happy to share their advice on must-see natural sights and hidden secrets such as off-the-beaten-path hiking trails, cozy restaurants, and lesser known swimming spots!

The goal of this service is to provide one-of-a-kind, personalized travel tips to passengers to create an Icelandic vacation unlike any other. Icelandair staff members have all volunteered to be a part of this program to share their passion for their country with the world. Passengers can easily connect with a Buddy via a phone call or Facebook Messenger.
