Icelandair Adds New Hubs to its Airport Roster!

Starting mid-2018, Icelandair will have seasonal service from Kansas City International Airport, Baltimore-Washington International Airport, and San Francisco International Airport.

Pack your bags! Starting on May 25, 2018, Icelandair will offer services to and from Kansas City International Airport. Icelandair will offer three non-stop flights a week to Iceland along with easy connections to and from over 25 other European destinations. The flights will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, making traveling throughout the week a breeze.

Starting May 28, 2018, Icelandair returns to the “Charm City” and will offer four non-stop flights a week to Iceland from Baltimore-Washington International Airport, including connections to European destinations. These flights will occur on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Beginning June 1, 2018, Icelandair puts San Francisco back on their map with four non-stop flights a week to Iceland and beyond from San Francisco International Airport on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Starting September 30, 2018, Icelandair will increase service from Orlando International Airport to six flights a week and beginning October 3, 2018, Icelandair will offer daily flights out of the Orlando hub!

Beginning fall 2018, Icelandair will increase their seasonal non-stop service from Tampa International Airport to four times a week. The flights out of Tampa will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Icelandair CEO Bjorgolfur Johannsson is thrilled to welcome Kansas City, Baltimore, and San Francisco to Icelandair’s long list of cities serviced. Iceland’s nature haven lies a mere 7 hours by plane from Kansas City, 5 hours from Baltimore-Washington, 8 hours from San Francisco, and 7 hours from Orlando and Tampa.

Icelandair also offers Stopover Service, which gives visitors the opportunity to spend up to seven nights in Iceland for no additional charge. The Stopover Buddy service provides visitors with their very own Icelandic host, encouraging a true, authentic Icelandic experience!
