Iceland Ranks High On Environmental Performance Index

The EPI ranks 163 ranks countries on performance indicators tracked across policy categories that cover both environmental public health and ecosystem vitality. These indicators provide a gauge at a national government scale of how close countries are to established environmental policy goals.

This is the fourth edition of the EPI, which has been revisited biannually since 2006. The full text of the 2012 EPI report, including country profiles as well as the summary for policymakers, is available at http://epi.yale.edu.
