Iceland Airwaves is growing! The week-long music festival is taking over the city of Akureyri in 2017, along with the festival’s original site, Reykjavik. Akureyri will have 2-3 official venues and host anywhere between 20 and 26 artists. Just like Reykjavik, you will find a number of off-venue shows throughout Akureyri.
The 19th annual Iceland Airwaves festival will take place from November 1 to November 9, 2017. Tickets to the two-city festival will go on sale February 1, 2017. Founding sponsor, Icelandair, will have special package deals to help international travelers enjoy the fun and music at both locations in Iceland!
