For the month of February, CURE (Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy) is auctioning a 4-day trip for two to Iceland to the highest bidder! This is your chance to take part in an extraordinary experience and support epilepsy at the same time. To learn more, keep reading or click here.
What do you get the person who has been (almost) everywhere? An unforgettable trip to the amazing and unique country of Iceland! Take in the wonderful culture and scenery and snowmobile up one of Europe’s largest remaining glaciers to enjoy 24 hours of sunlight and a traditional cold buffet dinner.
Contrary to what its name implies, only 10% of Iceland is actually covered in ice; though it still maintains the largest glaciers remaining in Europe. The adventurous trip being auctioned will give the highest bidder a chance to journey to the top of one of these glaciers, where they will be served a customary Icelandic buffet dinner on the country’s longest day – June 21 – while enjoying 24 hours of sunlight.
But there’s more. Not only will travelers embark on this authentic Icelandic adventure – they will also be supporting a great cause. Every dollar from the winning bid of this auction will go toward research in epilepsy – a disease that affects 65 million people worldwide and of which the cause remains unknown.
A most unique and rewarding experience awaits. Place your bids!
