All dishes at LAVA are created with an emphasis on fresh, dynamic flavors to match the inspiring setting of Blue Lagoon.
The new summer evening menu features a Tasting Menu, special Nordic Chef of the Year Menu, and an A la Carte Menu complete with starters, main courses, desserts and a children’s menu.
The Tasting Menu, inspired by Blue Lagoon’s surrounding nature, features four delicious courses served in an order best suited to delight your palate.
The Nordic Chef of The Year Menu was created in honor of Viktor Örn Andrésson, Head Chef at LAVA since 2010. Chef Andresson has a broad work experience in both Iceland and abroad, including at the Michelin star restaurant Domaine de Clairefontaine in Lyon, France. This menu includes slowly cooked cod with smoked langoustine salad, fried front rack of beef and beef cheek, and cranberries and organic dark chocolate.
