Iceland Naturally has partnered with filmmakers Lindsay Blatt and Paul Taggart to promote their upcoming film Herd in Iceland, a documentary about the traditional round-up of Iceland’s semi-wild horses across the island’s stunning terrain. For more than 1,000 years, Icelandic law has prohibited the importation of horses onto the island, making Icelandic horses a symbolic aspect of the country. Herd in Iceland tells the story of the horses’ annual journey, which has become a valued part of Icelandic culture. Watch a trailer of the film.
