Iceland’s capital city of Reykjavik is excited to welcome some of the world’s most renowned jazz musicians to the Harpa Concert Hall for a week packed with incredible musical performances. Beginning on August 14, festival guests will have the chance to immerse themselves in delightful jazz music and Iceland’s rich artistic culture. The week’s festivities kick off on Thursday evening with an celebratory parade that finishes at Harpa where guests will then enjoy several exciting opening acts.
For the past 25 years, the Reykjavik Jazz Festival has been embracing the evolving nature of the jazz industry and has continually provided listeners with quality musical talent ranging from traditional swing to hardcdore improvisation and everything in between. It’s not too late for you to enjoy some of the world’s best jazz music while basking in Iceland’s scenic summertime beauty. Flights to Iceland are available from any of Icelandair‘s North American hubs. Daily and weekly festival passes are still available and can be purchase at the Harpa Concert Hall (approximately $34-$129).
