One of Iceland’s most important cultural festivals, DesignMarch, returns this month! From March 15 – 18, 2018, over 400 designers and architects will come together in Iceland’s capital to host nearly 100 different exhibitions. The event will showcase the best of both Icelandic and international design talent, and is sure to delight attendees with its complex and breathtaking work.
Celebrating its 10-year anniversary this year, the festival promises to be the best yet with over 30,000 visitors. The event will cover all fields of design, featuring everything from fashion to furniture, and architecture to food design.
Located right in downtown Reykjavik, the festival will take over the Icelandic capital and transform it into the center of artistic expression and innovation. Each venue offers an unique, intimate setting to meet the artists and hear talks on their design and thought process. From some of the most creative minds in Iceland and beyond, you’ll get the chance to see limited-editions and never before seen collections of art, fashion, jewelry and design.
