Taste of Iceland in Seattle: Reykjavik Calling

Iceland Naturally is proud to host the Reykjavik Calling concert in collaboration with KEXP on October 13. This Icelandic-American concert will feature Icelandic artists Vök, whose debut LP, Figure, received the award for Best Electronic Album of the Year at the 2018 Icelandic Music Awards, and Gyda, who has been active as a musician since her early teens when she co-founded the experimental pop-group múm in the late 1990’s. Gyda’s sophomore album, Evolution, will be released September 28, 2018 on figureight records. The Icelandic bands will be joined by local US talent NAVVI. Admission to the free concert is granted on a first-come, first-served basis, so come early! (Must be 21+ to enter.)
