Hákon Már Örvarsson is the chef and owner of Essensia Restaurant in Reykjavík, a place where people can come together, have a good time, enjoy high quality cuisine in a casual atmosphere and have a chance to taste a selection of courses. Previously, he has worked as the executive chef at the Nordica Hotel and VOX Restaurant in Reykjavík, and in 2012 was awarded with a Cordon Bleu Honorary diploma from the Iceland Chef association.
