With thirty years of experience in every sector and in organizations ranging from Fortune 100 companies to scaling start-ups, Jean brings a significant range of expertise and insight to her team and clients at New Legends, where culture by design meets effective and implementable strategy. Jean led the US operations of the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability, where she piloted the Prince of Wales leadership program and Sustainability Collaboratories. Over 10 years at CH2M Hill, Jean was responsible for management excellence in programs ranging from massive infrastructure replacements to sustainability planning. In her previous firm, Brittingham Partners, she worked with multinationals such as Nike, Ford and GE, as well as innovative start-ups such as Katerva. Jean financed and led SmartGirls Way, a project, focused on helping women entrepreneurs gain confidence, momentum and scale. Jean is a committed change agent with experience and insight into many emergent arenas. Her current passion is integrating culture and diversity to energize innovation and create resilient and high-performing organizations. She is a sought after speaker at conferences ranging from TedX events to SXSW to the Women In Innovation Summit. Jean loves travel and seeks the opportunity to create meaningful connections and communities wherever she goes. She lives in Seattle where she enjoys sailing, kayaking and adventuring with her husband, friends and family.
