Reykjavik Calling at Martyrs’

In partnership with Martyrs’, the Icelandic-American concert known as Reykjavik Calling in collaboration with WLUW will feature Iceland artists JFDR, whose first full length album, was co-produced by Laurie Anderson, Yoko Ono, and Tom Waits, and Sturla Atlas, who has performed at just about every big stage Iceland has to offer, including opening for two nights on Justin Bieber’s Purpose Tour stop in the country. The Icelandic artists will be joined by US artist Ethan Butler, who got his national break when he made it to the Battle Rounds on Season 7 of NBC’s The Voice and got to work closely with Adam Levine. This free concert takes place Saturday, April 7 from 7 – 11 p.m. at Martyrs’; interested attendees are encouraged to register here to reserve their spot. Admission to this free concert is granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests must be over 21 to attend. Doors open at 7 p.m. Martyrs’, 3855 N. Lincoln, Chicago, IL 60613.
