If you can’t wait for the Taste of Iceland in New York City festivities to begin, kick things off a little early with a night of traditional Icelandic spirits at the Montana’s Trail House Wednesday, September 27. Iceland’s favorite spirits, Reyka and Brennivin, are taking over the local watering hole to help prepare Brooklyn for the weekend’s celebration of Icelandic cuisine, art and culture. Brennivin cocktail champion Kari Sigurdsson will be on site and is teaming up with local bartenders to serve you the most delicious cocktails! If you can’t get enough of the Icelandic beverages on Wednesday, make sure you stop by the Icelandic cocktail class at the Lo-Res Bar at Nitehawk Cinema on September 28 to learn how to make these delicious concoctions for yourself or make your reservation at the Norman for an Icelandic dinner with cocktail pairings Sept. 28-Oct. 1. Must be 21+ to participate.
