Coming from a classical, folk and electronic music background, JFDR is Jófríður Ákadóttir, Icelandic musician of Samaris, Pascal Pinon and GANGLY. She will be performing her brand new solo material, cyclical guitar playing, minimalistic noise soundscapes with RnB melodies. Her upcoming album was recorded in Brooklyn’s Figure 8 Recording with legendary multi-instrumentalist Shahzad Ismaily (Laurie Anderson, Yoko Ono, Tom Waits) as producer.
