Rolling Stone premiered Of Monsters and Men’s new video for ‘Mountain Sound’ this week (September 16). The video shows the Icelandic band at a hometown performance in Reykjavik where they set up the stage and interact with fans. Aside from their excellent performance, the video showcases the band as a personable group that cares about their fans as much as they do music.
The six-piece folk band had their breakout hit “Little Talks” in 2011, which was number one on the Iceland and Ireland charts, as well as a top 100 song in the United States. Their album My Head is an Animal was released in Iceland in 2011, and became available in the States and Europe in April 2012. The album is currently a top 50 album in the United States.
