Reykjavik Readies for the Children’s Cultural Festival

Reykjavik is preparing for Children’s Cultural Festival, to be held at various locations around the city April 19 – 22, 2012. The goal of the 4-day event is to provide a platform of cultural activities for children, created by children. Over 100 events will take place around the city, including workshops, seminars, and forums. The opening ceremony of the festival will be held at 11:00 AM on April 17th, and will include an address from the Mayor and the delivery of the Flag of the City of Culture.
