With the simple belief that “films and art can change people’s lives for the better,” it is no surprise the that Reykjavik International Film Festival (RIFF) has seen an incredible increase in attendance since its start in 2008. The annual film festival has not only grown in numbers, but it has also made a name for itself worldwide as one of Europe’s top annual film events.
This year the festival will take place from September 27- October 7 and promises to bring together the best of new talent, international stars, and insightful critique. Not only does the festival screen noteworthy films, but there will also lectures, workshops, master classes, and special events to ensure all guests are provided a comprehensive experience.
Reaching nearly 30,000 in attendance and featuring 100+ films annually, RIFF is an exciting event for any film junkie.
