The book was issued by the Icelandic Folk and Outsider Art Museum.

North Iceland’s Icelandic Folk and Outsider Art Museum in Akureyri recently issued a new book, Showcase: Kiko Korriro, highlighting the work of acclaimed Icelandic artist Þórður G. Valdimarsson, known by the pseudonym “Kiko Korriro” in his work. The book details his life as he began to find his artistic abilities and explores where his inspiration stemmed from, following his story all the way through to his death in 2002. The artist’s life and work were both largely private and elusive and he is regarded as a vivacious artist, always maintaining his personal approach to his subject matters.

Art enthusiasts can see his work in person at the Icelandic Folk and Outsider Art Museum where thousands of works are on display in a special department. Check out the new book, Showcase: Kiko Korriro, here, and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments below!
