Have you missed your chance to attend the Iceland Airwaves this year? If you can’t make it to the music festival this year, you can still hear many of the performances from the 5-day festival! The Seattle-based radio station KEXP has announced that the station will return to Iceland Airwaves with a live broadcast of 15 performances. The broadcast will air live from KEX Hostel in Reykjavik October 31 through November 2, from 6 a.m. – 2 p.m. Pacific Time. DJs Cheryl Waters and Kevin Cole will host the performance series, which listeners can hear on 90.3 FM in Seattle and online at KEXP.org.
The Iceland Airwaves broadcasts is a joint project of KEXP and Iceland Naturally. They’re presented by KEXP in partnership with KEX Hostel, Kimi Records, the City of Reykjavik, Icelandair, Iceland Airwaves, 66° North, Blue Lagoon, Icelandic Glacial Water, and Reyka Vodka.
