Jamie’s Italian Opens at Reykjavík’s Hotel Borg on July 18th!

This international restaurant is bringing the taste of Italy to the land of fire and ice.

Jamie’s Italian was founded in 2008 by Jamie Oliver and his Italian mentor, chef Gennaro Contaldo. The restaurant initially opened in Oxford, England, but has since grown to more than 60 locations around the world. Together, Jamie and Gennaro bring an exciting mix of tradition and innovation to Italian classics!

Deeply inspired by the country’s culture and cuisine, Jamie offers his customers authentic, rustic Italian dishes with the freshest ingredients. The menu features a number of antipasti and nibbles perfect for sharing, as well as a variety of pasta bowls, fresh salads and grills.

Jamie is particularly excited to open his new restaurant in Reykjavik as he recognizes Icelanders shared appreciation for fresh, high-quality ingredients. His restaurant team works hard to find the best ingredients for all their dishes and takes enormous pride in their craft.

Each restaurant is uniquely designed to incorporate the history of the building and personality of the town or city in which it stands. Located in Reykjavik’s Hotel Borg, this venue will certainly be one to check out!
