Icelandic Short Film ‘Revolution Reykjavik’ to Host New York Premiere

‘Revolution Reykjavík’, a new Icelandic short film directed by Isold Uggadottir, will hold its official New York premiere at the renowned festival New Directors/New Films presented by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and the Museum of Modern Art on March 31st and April 1st.

The film stars Lilja Thorisdottir as Gudfinna, who struggles to retain her dignity as the Icelandic economy sinks into economic meltdown. ‘Revolution Reykjavik’ is the closing film in shorts program #2, screening on March 31 and April 1st at 12:30 pm.
