The Huffington Post recently published an article titled ‘12 Breathtaking Places You’ve Probably Never Heard Of. Not one, but three beautiful Icelandic locations made the list.
Coming in at number four on The Huffington Post’s list is Hvitserkur. Located on the eastern side of Vatnsnes, this is a rock massive formation. It’s also a great location for spotting seals!
Number eight on the list is the majestic Gullfoss waterfall. Surrounded by green, lush land, the waterfall is a popular stop on the Golden Circle tour. Click here to see a video of the Gulllfoss waterfall.
Iceland’s Vatnajokull ice caves are number 12 on the list. Sometimes called Crystal Caves, these caves are actually located inside an Icelandic glacier.
