Celebrate the fifth annual DesignMarch, Iceland’s most important design festival, by entering Iceland Naturally’s “Get Creative for #DesignMarch 2014!” contest. Submit an original poem about how Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital city, inspires you for the chance to win!
How To Enter:
- Write a poem (200 characters max) about Reykjavik.
- Submit your poem to our contest anytime between March 3 and 17 by clicking here to enter on Facebook or here to enter on Iceland Naturally’s website.
- Check Iceland Naturally’s Facebook page on March 18 to see if you are a finalist.
If you’re selected as a finalist, you can then encourage your friends to vote for your poem from March 18-26. The person whose poem receives the most votes will win a Helm of Disguise blanket from award-winning Icelandic brand Vik Prjonsdottir and an official DesignMarch 2014 tote bag designed by Siggi Odds (a $360 total value)!

Organized by the Iceland Design Centre, DesignMarch is Iceland’s most important annual design festival. Taking place in Reykjavik, the four-day festival brings together all of Iceland’s creative energy, from fashion and design to graphics, architecture, jewelry, sculptures, music and more. Contest voting period: March 18-26, 2014
Winner Notification: The finalist with the highest amount of votes at the end of the voting period will be named the winner and notified via email on March 27, 2014. Winner will also be announced in The Icelander, on Iceland Naturally´s website and on Iceland Naturally´s Facebook page.
Contest Description: From March 3, 2014 to March 17, 2014, U.S. and Canadian residents who enter their contact information and an original Reykjavik-inspired poem on the Iceland Naturally website or Facebook page will be entered in this contest for the chance to win an official DesignMarch tote and Helm of Disguise blanket from Vik Prjonsdottir. Poems must be 100% original and in no way plagiarized or taken from another source. On March 18, 2014, five (5) finalists will be announced and voting will open. Voting closes on March 26, 2014. The finalist with the highest number of votes at the end of the voting period will be named the winner. The winner will be announced on March 27, 2014.
