This March, artists such as Ben Frost, Bjarki, Denis Sulta, and more will travel to the city of Reykjavik to perform in Sónar 2018. The Sonar festival started in Barcelona in 1994 and has been held in Iceland’s capital, Reykjavik, since 2013.
This unique international festival strives to combine music with technology and creativity for an experience you can’t find anywhere else. Because of its unparalleled charms, Sónar is able to unite established artists with emerging talent in all areas of musical and audiovisual production.
A total of 52 bands and DJs will perform over the course of 2 days at one of Europe’s most unique concert venues, Harpa. This venue is in the heart of the city and has 4 different stages for concert-goers to enjoy the musical stars in electronica, hip hop and advanced music. Previous North American performers include big names such as Major Lazer and Skrillex.
