Iceland is becoming more and more well-known for its delicious food thanks to popular events like the Food & Fun Festival and talented Icelandic chefs like Viktor Örn Andrésson. - Alto Bistro in the Nordic House: Aalto Bistro is a new, friendly and exciting restaurant in the Nordic House.
- Apótek Restaurant: This is a casual-smart restaurant that offers delicious food in a vibrant atmosphere with stylish surroundings. The menu is a fun mix of Icelandic and European cuisine with a smoking hot Argentinean grill. Dishes are designed to share and enjoy together. Stop by Apótek’s lively cocktail bar, where award winning “pharmacists” mix together exciting artisan cocktails to suit every mood.

- Cafe Stofan (new location): Cafe Stofan offers specialty coffee made by trained baristas, a selection of Icelandic beers on tap and in bottles, a variety of wines by the glass, home made cakes, a choice of whiskeys from around the world, homemade vegetarian soups, toasted bagels, grilled paninis, and much more!

- Krás Streed Food Market in Fógetagarður: Krás is a street food market, which will be held in Sheriff Park in the City Center for five Saturdays beginning on July 26.

- Smurstöðin in Harpa: Smurstöðin is an exciting, newly opened restaurant at the ground floor of Harpa. Smurstöðin only uses Icelandic grown and harvested ingredients which are the cream of crop at any given time.
