For its 80th anniversary, Brennivin is releasing 1,200 special edition bottles of Iceland’s signature aquavit. The 80th Anniversary Brennivin was aged for one year in a combination of new charred American white oak barrels, used bourbon barrels and Islay whisky casks. “The result is a deliciously, smooth spirit which can be enjoyed on its own,” said Canny Candi in a recent holiday review of the aquavit. Click here to get your bottle before they’re all gone!
