Quiz: Which Icelandic Yule Lad Are You Most Like?

It’s that time of year again: Iceland’s beloved Yule Lads are beginning to make their journey down from the mountains to leave gifts for children and perhaps wreak a little havoc as well. The Christmas Yule Lads are a staple in Icelandic folklore. Legend says in the 13 days leading up to Christmas, one Yule Lad descends from the mountains each night to bear gifts to children, leave surprises in their shoes and perhaps play a prank or two while they’re at it.

The Yule Lads are known for their interesting characteristics, from the Skyr Gobbler, who loves traditional Icelandic skyr that’s similar to yogurt, to the Sausage Swiper, who may take a few of your Christmas meats when he visits. Which one are you most like? Take our quiz below!
