Experience What Lies Below Iceland’s Waters with a Snorkel Tour from Icelandair

Iceland is home to some of the world’s most beautiful nature sites on land, but it also boasts underwater views that are truly breathtaking. The stunningly clear waters give snorkelers the best opportunity to see Silfra in Thingvellir National Park, the exact location where the Eurasian and North American continents divide. Icelandair is offering a snorkel excursion package for visitors to witness these sites for themselves starting at $217* a person until September 30, 2017!

With this Icelandair package, choose from morning or afternoon tours, with departures varying depending on the time of year. Hotel pick-ups begin 30 minutes before the scheduled departure, and tours last between 4-6 hours. All tours are guided by PADI divemasters or instructors, who will teach you everything you need to know and will provide all necessary equipment. Although Silfra appeals to all ages, this package is not suitable for children 13 years or younger.

Guests are suggested to dress for cold weather by wearing warm, layered clothing, including rain and wind-proof outerwear to shield from the elements and should bring an extra set of clothes to change into after the dive. Also, don’t forget your water bottle, snacks, a swimsuit and towel!

Visit Icelandair.com to book this once in a lifetime trip! Interested in knowing more about Silfra? Get the facts here.
