Brennivin

Brennivín is uniquely Icelandic. The history of this distinctive spirit goes back to 1935, when prohibition was partially lifted on the island. A black label was chosen so as to be unappealing and limit demand. However, this had the opposite effect and today, the Brennivín label is a treasured symbol for Iceland’s signature drink.
