Now in its 16th year, the Food and Fun Festival is celebrating some of the most well-renowned chefs from both sides of the Atlantic at some of Reykjavik’s best restaurants. Using some of Iceland’s freshest ingredients, the chefs will prepare a menu that will definitely please your taste buds!
The festival was originally created to boost tourism during the winter months and has turned into one of the city’s busiest weekends of the year. Almost every restaurant in Reykjavik is packed with guests dining on specially created dishes. Some of the participating restaurants include Grillið, Haust and Bazaar.
The chefs are not only looking to impress their guests, but also the celebrity chef judges who will be in attendance to rate all the food. Three chefs are chosen as finalists to compete for the title of Food and Fun Chef of the Year!
