Meet Kristín Eiríksdóttir during the book talk on February 13 to learn more about her novel, “A Fist or a Heart”

Join the Nordic National Museum’s virtual book talk on February 13 with novelist Kristín Eiríksdóttir, along with translator Larissa Kyzer and publisher Gabriella Page-Fort. The event will discuss Nordic literature, including Kristín’s latest novel, followed by a Q&A moderated by Dr. Elizabeth DeNoma. 

Kristín Eiríksdóttir is an award-winning novelist, short story writer, poet, and playwright from Reykjavík, Iceland. Her novel, A Fist or a Heart, follows the life of a woman who is dealing with her traumatic past and all the while losing her grasp on reality. A Fist or a Heart has won several awards including the 2017 Icelandic Literary Prize and the 2018 Icelandic Women’s Literature Prize.

The event will take place on Saturday, February 13 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am PST. The cost to attend is $5 for the public or free to museum members. You can purchase tickets at the link here
