Tune Into the Annual Nordic Lights Film Festival March 7-13

The 12th annual festival is completely virtual for 2021

If you’re looking for exciting entertainment from the comfort of your home, you’ve come to the right place. This year’s 12th Annual Nordic Lights Film Festival (NLFF) is going virtual, allowing viewers from across the world to join in from March 7-13, 2021.

The festival will include a great selection of Nordic feature and short films, from comedies to documentaries and everything in between. Of note, Icelandic short Já-Fólkið will be shown at the festival, a cute and clever animated film that has been shortlisted for the 2021 Academy Awards. Check out the trailer here

This year, the festival has also partnered with the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY), adding a shorts program to the lineup that includes emerging filmmakers from Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. These young filmmakers will also participate in a virtual panel discussion.

Check out the official festival trailer below and head over to the Nordic Lights Film Festival website for a full list of the featured films. Interested viewers can purchase tickets to the entire festival at this link or to individual films at this link. NLFF members receive a $10 discount at checkout.
