Taste of Iceland returns to Toronto November 13-16, 2014! The four-day event will celebrate Iceland’s food and music with a variety of cultural offerings to give Toronto a taste of what life is like in Iceland.

Icelandic Menu at Luma | November 13-15

Toronto will enjoy a taste of authentic Icelandic cuisine with a special menu offering at one of Oliver & Bonacini’s top restaurants, Luma. Icelandic chef Viktor Örn Andrésson, head chef at Blue Lagoon’s LAVA Restaurant and the 2014 Nordic Chef of the Year, will join chefs Michael Wilson and Anthony Walsh to prepare a special meal showcasing the best of Icelandic cuisine.

Reykjavik Calling Concert | November 15

Toronto will welcome Icelandic artists Uni Stefson, Young Karin, Hermigervill, and Retro Stefson to Horseshoe Tavern on Saturday, November 15 for the free Reykjavik Calling concert! These four Icelandic acts will perform alongside Toronto songstress LYON for a night of unique musical collaborations. Admission to the concert is free and on a first-come, first-served basis. 19+

Icelandic Film Screenings at The Royal | November 15

Iceland Naturally will screen two Icelandic film programs specially curated by the Reykjavik Shorts & Docs Festival on Saturday, November 15 at The Royal! The first screening will be a series of short films, followed by a documentary. Admission to the film screenings is free and on a first-come, first-served basis.

‘An Evening in Iceland’ at Luma | November 16

On Sunday, November 16, Luma and Icelandic guest chef Viktor Örn Andrésson will host ‘An Evening in Iceland’, an interactive ticketed event showcasing the best cuisine Iceland has to offer. Join chefs Andrésson, Walsh and Wilson for a meet and greet cocktail reception, followed by the four-course tasting menu. Chefs will walk guests through the menu while they dine at communal tables and are treated to the night’s entertainment by Toronto-Icelandic musician Lindy Vopnfjörð.

Tickets are $105 and include four courses, wine pairings, entertainment, specialty cocktail, and gratuity.
