About Sónar Reykjavik

The annual Sónar Reykjavik music festival takes place in Reykjavik’s famous Harpa Concert Hall to celebrate the intersection of music and technology. Not only do concert-goers get to experience this unique event, but they also might get the chance to see the northern lights! The festival falls during peak northern lights season in Iceland and Harpa’s unique glass structure gives visitors a great chance to spot the aurora from within the concert walls. The music combined with Iceland’s picturesque backdrop provides a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Sónar Reykjavik!

The festival focuses on new trends in dance, music and technology by inviting people to consider and imagine how creativity is capable of changing the future. Each event creates an intimate environment to enhance relationships between the audience and the art.

This festival gives concert goers a chance to not only enjoy music from their favorite artists, but also discover new talent in a unique and intimate setting.
