Running a 5k will seem like nothing when you get to race through all the colors of the rainbow! For the third year in a row, The Color Run is coming to Iceland. On June 10th in Reykjavik and July 8th in Akureyri, grab your friends and join in the “happiest 5k on the planet”!
The Color Run is one of the largest running series in the world, celebrating healthiness, happiness, and individuality. In tradition with its vibrant spirit, you’ll start the run in white clothing and end it completely covered in all colors of the rainbow. At the end of each kilometer, you’ll be greeted by a new color powder that will douse you from head to toe. The run is un-timed and open to runners (and walkers) of all different ages and experiences.
This year’s theme for the Color Run is “Dream,” and as a special treat, will include a new Foam Zone at the start of the race with colorful foam clouds. Upon completing the 5k route, celebrate at the Finish Festival with live music, dancing, entertainment, and more!
