Reykjavik Shorts & Docs Festival: April 9-12

The 13th annual film festival will be held at Bíó Paradís in Reykjavik.

The 13th annual Reykjavik Shorts & Docs Festival takes place April 9-12, 2015 at Bíó Paradís in Reykjavik, Iceland. The festival will screen a variety of international documentaries and short films; click here to view the program booklet. The following films will be screened at this year’s festival:

Icelandic Shorts & Docs

In addition to the film screenings, a number of special guests will be present at this year’s festival to host Q&A sessions and masterclasses.

Laura Poitras, the Oscar winning director of Citizen Four and a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, will host a Q&A after the screening of Citizen Four on Saturday, April 11 at 8 PM. She will also host a master filmmaking class on Saturday, April 11 from 3-5 PM.

Lisa Fruchtman, an Academy Award winning editor and the director of Sweet Dreams, will also host a Q&A after the screenings of her documentary Sweet Dreams on Friday, April 10 at 8 PM and Sunday, April 12 at 6 PM.

Iceland Naturally partnered with the Reykjavik Shorts & Docs Festival for our spring 2015 Taste of Iceland events in Boston and Edmonton, which both feature a selection of Icelandic films.
