Reyka Vodka Makes a Splash at Feast Festival!

Iceland’s favorite vodka served up speciality cocktails at Portland’s most anticipated food and drink festival.

For the sixth year in a row, Reyka Vodka joined the annual Feast Festival in Portland, Oregon! Kicking off on September 14th, the four-day festival is one of most highly anticipated events of the year. Reyka joined the ranks of hundreds of food and beverage brands from all over the world as they collaborated and created innovative culinary dishes and cocktails.

Reyka Vodka brought Iceland to life in Portland with curated cocktails and unique dish pairings at the noticeable Reyka Vodka Hus during the Brunch Village event. Reyka National Ambassador Trevor Schneider and Reykjavik’s own Chef Oli Gusta teamed up to provide a delicious and refreshing “Southside Mule” cocktail alongside an Icelandic brunch trifecta menu. Chef Gusta is a general manager of restaurants all across Reykjavik, including KEX Hostel, the Anonymous Pizza Place, Mikkeller & Friends and the famous DILL Restaurant, which won a Michelin star this year! Dishes included pulled lamb shoulder shanks with pickles, wild mushrooms and herbs, Skyr and cream, birch syrup, forest berries and crispy barley flakes, salted cod and more!

Feast was a great success this year, and Reyka Vodka is proud to bring a small taste of Icelandic drink overseas for others to experience. If you missed Feast this year, you can still try Reyka Vodka at one of our upcoming Taste of Iceland events in New York City or Seattle!
