The 3rd annual Iceland Writers Retreat will be held in Reykjavik from April 13th-17th, 2016 and will provide an unforgettable experience for writers looking to develop their writing skills in a professional and inspiring setting. Attendees will have the chance to enroll in up to 5 workshops to learn more about literature and writing, to meet successful authors and to explore the magnificent city of Reykjavik. Internationally acclaimed authors lead intimate workshops that are limited to only 15 members, making the experience much more hands-on and engaging.

Steven Galloway is chair of the creative writing department at the University of British Columbia and author of numerous bestselling and critically-acclaimed novels.
Gerður Kristný won the Icelandic Literature Award in 2010 for her book of poetry Bloodhoof and has also published novels, short stories, children’s books, and plays.
Cheryl Strayed is the author of the bestselling memoir Wild, which was made into an Academy Award nominated film of the same name starring Reese Witherspoon.
Miriam Toews won the Governor General’s Award for fiction and the Writers’ Trust Engel / Findley Award for body of work, among others accolades.
Adele Waldman’s debut novel was named one of 2013’s best books by The New Yorker, The New Republic, The Economist, and several other publications.
