Daníel BjarnasonDaníel Bjarnason is an Icelandic conductor and composer who is currently in residence with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra. Daniel has been commissioned by many organizations, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Britten Sinfonia. He also co-curates the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s Reykjavik Music Festival with Laureate Esa-Pekka Salonen. Bjarnason’s work received the 2019 Best Performer award from Iceland Symphony Orchestra, the Edda Award for best soundtrack in 2013 and Best Composer/Best Composition in 2010.

Víkingur ÓlafssonVíkingur Ólafsson is an Icelandic pianist. With an upcoming residency at Konzerthaus Berlin, Ólafsson is one of the world’s most desired performers. This year, Ólafsson is set to perform with world-class organizations including the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic, San Diego Symphony, and Iceland Symphony Orchestra. Ólafsson has been praised by Crescendo Magazine for his “perfect blend of playful free spirit and technical finesse” and has been named “Iceland’s Glenn Gould” by The New York Times.

MúmMúm is an Icelandic electronic-pop band. The band was formed in 1997 by Gunnar Örn Tynes, Örvar Þóreyjarson Smárason, and twins Gyða and Kristín Anna Valtýsdóttir. Múm has released six studio albums and has worked with renowned artists such as Kylie Minogue and the late Jóhann Jóhannsson.

Álfheiður Erla GuðmundsdóttirÁlfheiður Erla Guðmundsdóttir is an Icelandic soprano singer. Guðmundsdóttir has performed, competed and participated in master classes all around the world. Recently, her roles have included ‘Snow White’ at Staatsoper Berlin, ‘Papagena’ in Yuval Sharon’s Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, ‘Susanna’ in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro at Uferstudios Berlin and ‘Poppea’ in Händel’s Agrippina at Radialsystem Berlin, among many others. Guðmundsdóttir has received awards such as Best Lied Interpretation at the 2019 International Haydn Competition and Best Interpretation of an Aria at the International Perotti Competition in 2015.
